[Solved] Parenting across the Scottish border

Anyone has experience of court order across the scottish border?

I currently have a CAO, allowing for weekend overnights and half holidays amongst other things.

We both live in England, 200 miles apart.

I am looking to relocate to Scotland for work. As it happens, just under 200 miles away from her.

Ideally I will want the CAO to be changed to reflect this... and to keep the same number of nights/days...

But it would be across the scottish border. The child and ex will still live in England.

Is it easy to vary the CAO to do this?

hi,

as the distance is still the same roughly, you should be able to make current arrangements work, without making changes to your CAO. I would only go back to court to get order varied, if ex starts messing around and not sticking to the order.
