So today I had my final hearing and the courts went against Caffcass decision for access.
They have given me 1 hour this Saturday, then it builds up to 6 hours every other weekend until March when we have to go for another hearing to discuss overnight stays.
Based on the court didnt like that a dna test and called me a liar when I said child maintenance paid for it and said I lack in sight to how my son perceive me because I said I don't know he will act until I see him after a year of not seeing him. The Court said his Mother lack insight, her anxiety and hatred towards me causes conflicts to how my sons sees me and cause my ex refuses to communicate with that the one hour contact is the way forward to see how we get on.
I am disappointed but it's one more hour than I had last week.
Has this Happen to anyone else another hearing after the final hearing?
Yes, this can happen & it's probably good that the court have ordered to review matters. It means the mother is more likely to comply with the order and anything that isn't working can be raised in March.
Thanks for your reply that's a good insight
