[Solved] No C4 form πŸ™ so what are 'enquiry agents' ??

Shame C4 is not applicable to Scotland.

Reading between the lines I am assuming he is talking about using a private agent (or detective) to find out ex's whereabouts if ex's solicitor refuses to handover the details...

Shame about the C4. Find out who will be paying for the detective. I haven't used one before or know of anyone who has. Find out if you are allowed to do some of the investigation yourself like looking out for friends and families without having an injunction slapped on.

Speak to the charity Reunite, they might advice you as the deal with child abduction.

Good luck!

I'm pretty sure that Reunite are an organisation that offer advice to parents who's child has been removed from the jurisdiction , taken across borders, so I doubt that they would be able to advise on this particular problem, unless she has left Scotland with the child.

KM,

Rather than paying your solicitor to hire an agent, I would DIY.
Look on the web for agents in your local area and ring around...then negotiate on the price.

I would imagine that if you supplied certain information, the agent could find the person fairly quickly as there is always a trail...

Don't lose hope, you're almost there...just need an address.

Reunite deal with child abduction in general or accusation of child abduction in and out of the UK.

You will find her, just be patient. Meanwhile some DIY work might save you some money

No, they deal with across borders abduction, that's why they are called Reunite International. As Scotland isn't in our jurisdiction...if she has taken the child to England that would be across borders.

However they wouldn't turn anyone away that asked for their help, but their advice would be limited and they could offer no more than kennys solicior, or we do here, I've just spoken to them.

Kennymac doesn't have PR and really it's not a matter of abduction, he's never met his child, isn't named on the birth certificate and she hasn't therefore abducted the child, she's just moved, probably to try and prevent Kenny from trying to get PR and contact.

I bet she's still at the same address and just trying to throw you off, she'll just be buying time, you'll get some sort of contact it's just a matter of time I'd be finding out where she lives on my jack jones it'll take forever going through a solicitor πŸ™‚
