I live in Canada and my ex lives in Brighton, UK. years ago our marriage broke down and I was done for common assault, for pushing her. She didnt have a scratch on her! A few months later i moved back to canada and she wouldnt let me have any contact with our daughter. While she had the NMO in place, she changed our daughter's surname to her name, without my permission, via deed poll. We were married when my daughter was born and she had my last name as Im on the birth certificate.
Anyhow, my ex is hiding behind a 7 year old NMO, which she got ex-parte, and is using it to block communication. I filled out the FL403 and sent it to the family court. Is that how this works or is there more I must do?
Hi, yes FL403 is correct form to apply to discharge a Non mol order. Should be free of charge.
If I remember, you were involved in court proceedings a few months ago, to try get video contact with child?
There is the form C100 to apply for contact. There are some helpful guides on the advicenow.org.uk website which will help you with this
