Hi there,
I'm new here, so hello everyone.
I need some advice.
I share my daughter with my ex partner (mother). The arrangement is 4 does with and 4 days without. This is due to shift work patterns.
She had her last Christmas Eve to wake up with on Christmas morning. I fully expected and assumed that it would only and fairly be my turn this year. However, she has just told me that won't be happening as she doesn't want to wake up on Christmas morning lonely.
I am furious and want to know what I can do. Please advise?????
Leigh

She is 4. Me and my ex do not communicate directly anymore. Everything is relayed backwards and forwards via my mother.

Realistically, your best chance is meditation to see if you can come to an arrangement. If not, then you would be looking at going to court for a contact order but I would really advise that you think long and hard before doing that - at the moment you have a very good level of contact and if it goes to court, that could start to be eroded as a way of getting at you. You could try for alternate birthdays and Xmas or simply have a second Xmas on boxing day.

Thanks for your advice guys. Anything else you can think would be greatly appreciated. I think I'll get her those cats for Christmas, some really big horrible hungry tigers!

With mothers like this in the world there's no wonder there's a shortage in the run up to Christmas. I put it down to all us desperate fathers buying more than one and going for overkill effect. Roooooaaaarrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

Burp!!!!

You guys don't think this through - forget the tigers, you need to get a toyat is addictive to play with and makes a really annoying noise. Or a set of drums.
