First i want to say thank you to this wonderful people at dad.info who have already helped more than i could think so.
I don't know if this will help anyone but i will feel alot better about it.
I enjoyed my first day in court it was great and such a confidence boost theres something that makes you feel proud standing up there fighting for your flesh and blood I've actually enjoyed all the hearings for nearly 3 years up until my final one yesterday.
You haven't gone into too much detail it would be good if you could as it would be a great support for other dads on here who are worried about attending court for the first time 🙂
To be honest someone just asked me. I tried to get into contact with yoda to delete both of my last posts because unfortunately for some reason the whole post didnt show up.
I dont know if urself could delete it.
I tried to delete it myself but cant find where.

Few days a go i was worried and stressing about going court and been litigant.
Knowing that my ex put in a c1a form slamming me in every way. I was expecting the worst....
Well the day came and went now. Just to let anyone know i knew nothing about none of these things and what a c100 or c1a. Literally nothing.thats why iam posting and hoping this helps.
My case is far from over ..
But i feel proud and better off without a solicitor being there, im fighting for my daughter.
When you get to court, a usher will ask if you sign in(just to let you know you have arrived) be polite.
Wait till they call for your case and go in.
You will seat in front row and the other party should seat in same row as well(from what happened at my case).
Who ever filled in c100 will talk first and explaing why they are there.
The other party will get their chance of responding and vice versa.
The judge will ask questions. You will know the answer its about your situation and just keep to the truth.
At the end judge will give you an written order for both parties with the next steps for both to follow.
Having a personal statement did help me to get my points across. So i would say create one.
Like i said this is more for people who are abit worried and really doesn't know the procedure.
This would of helped me before court.just to be calmer and relaxed. I tough would be abit silly to ask. And im sure some one here would of helped.
If anyone has any input or thinks anything is wrong please do comment and add your thoughts.
Thanks for sharing pabz...please don't feel any question is too silly to ask, we are always happy to answer any questions if we can...there's nothing silly about it!
Hi well done, thanks for sharing, keep posting and we will do what we can to help you.
