PHEW!!!!
Glad yesterdays court room drama is out the way π
Even though I finally got to see my beautiful daughter on Saturday I wasn't prepared for the state of my head since I couldn't really enjoy it if I'm honest as I had my EX there with a face like a bull dog chewing a wasp, the CC manager watching my every move and I was dreading court yesterday last night was the worst I felt i'll after court and I've not felt like that since this nightmare started.
I was late this morning for work for the second time in 18 years but I had a wicked sleep and started to feel better, now I had to sell my beloved 2 seater convertible sports car earlier in the year to fund the court case and I lost my independence in the process as I've got a tracker on my van at work so I've not been able to go and see my family who live miles away and that added to me getting down all the time.
So today I bought myself a new set of wheels and I feel loads better as always I can't thank everyone on this site enough when the s**t hits the fan you guys really do help me out in making me feel better and I will be eternally grateful and Mr Slim is back in the room!!!! lol
Slim π
Glad it's all getting back on track now Slim.
Been there and I know how difficult it can be... Nothing worse than plenty of time alone to think of everything that COULD happen in that court room, what the ex could be planning to throw at you next, hey!
I share your pain re: the car too - having to travel 75 miles each way to see the kids, and wanting the stepkids and my partner to be involved in their lives too, meant that I had to go and buy a 7 seater
Though the OH has agreed that she will drive that from next year, so when some work related shares come through i'll (hopefully) be able to get something a little more suited to my age! πΏ
Hope things continue to get better for you mate.
