I have had a turbulent relationship with my sons mother, we were together young at 17 and stayed together for 7 years, and had our son coming up 4 years ago unfortunately she committed adultery (lost her knickers) and as a result im back living with my parents, but the main issue is my sonshe is demandiny ridiculous sums of money, I give her 300 a month which i calculated on csa, but the greedy pig is demanding me pay for his holiday pay for a child minder while she works in the evening , but what it is she won't allow me regular access to him, it started off I'd have him one night weekend one day weekend which suited me but its all stoped now as I won't bow to her mad demands, I'm really down I miss my son immensely she's so unreasonable I have mentioned mediation and got 2 fingers stuck up at me, i can only see legal action but Ive never experienced lawyers before can anyone help me or point me in the right direction I feel so down lonely and useless how is this fair in life? How can someone go against what's best for there child,

Chin up mate this can and will be sorted out you don't need a Solicitor for court you can self represent and apply for a child arrangement order on your jack jones it's actually pretty straight forward and defo worth the effort but before you apply you must try mediation so find a mediator and get them to invite her down when she says no then you can crack on with court.

One you start the ball rolling then you will start to feel better It's great once you have an order by the cout as you don't have to pander to the ex's [censored] to see your child.

Try not to worry about why women get away with acting like this it's just the way the cookie crumbles at the end of the day and it will do your head in if you think about it too much.

Take care

Hi and welcome to the forum

Slim has given you good advice. I edited your post to remove your son's name, we are a public forum and if you are going down the legal route, confidentiality is of the utmost importance in court matters. I have also moved it to the Legal Eagle section where hopefully you should get more views.

As Slim says, mediation is mandatory before making an application to court, have a look at NFM for more information ;

http://www.nfm.org.uk/

If this is unsuccessful you can have the mediator stamp the form and make a court application. There's a wealth of info in the stickies at the top of our Legal Eagle section on self repping. It isn't as daunting as it seems and many of our dads have successfully represented themselves through proceedings.

Take care and good luck

Hi There,

I agree with Slim. Get the ball rolling. Mediation first.

Like myself and many others we all self represent ourselves.

Keep fighting through this alienation. Never give up
