[Solved] Messed up in court

Hi everyone, right I was in court last week for a directions hearing. I sort of managed to get across what I wanted to say but missed out alot of things because the legal secretary wouldn't expect my position statement.
So I forgot to mention that my ex has previously missed two hearings with no excuse or explanation.
Also I did not ask for under no circumstances that my ex is allowed to cut her hair or die it until completing the hair strand drug and alcohol test, which leads me onto another concern. The courts (after all my concerns and repeatedly bringing it up as a priority they didn't order a alcohol test.
Also cafcass said that they didn't recommend any content even supervised in a contact centre because my daughter does not know me!! As you can imagine this made my blood boil, can I do anything to rectify any of this??
I was self representing.
She's got a solicitor on legal aid for the made up rhubarb.
Please help.

I don't think it would be fair for me to comment without knowing your case but there is a presumption that contact should always take place as long as it is safe to do so - it is the right of the child to have a relationship with both parents. I think you probably need to seek some legal advice and disclose your paperwork to the advisor and they might be able to offer you an opinion that is based on knowledge of your case.

Your statement might have contained evidence which is why it would be refused. A position statement should just be brief and factual - without any claims or evidence.

If that happens again you can say to the court that you have written a few things down that you would like to read out, explaining that because of nerves you forget things that you think would be important.

Im afraid you're just going to have to let the court process take its course, you will need to be patient, it's tough I know.

Did the court ask you to file a statement ready for the next hearing? What directions have they made going forward?
