Hello guys..
I might not be able to afford a (good) barrister for my final hearing in 2 months.
What is your experience of McKenzie friends? I suspect like anything else (incluing barristers) there are exceptional ones and ones that are not so good.
I would love to hear any views on this and if theres a McKenzie friedn that you would wholeheartedly recommend based on your own experience. Please not just because he happens to be your mate etc.. Just somebody who is really good, basic understanding of the law, procedures etc..
Thank you
Hi there
As they're an unregulated body, anyone can become an MF... there are really good McKenzie Friends and there are really bad ones, so personal experience/recommendation is quite important when trying to find one of the good ones.
We don't endorse particular MFs here but if you'd like to send any of the Moderators a PM with your location, I'm sure we can offer some pointers.
Will do, thank you Mojo
