Is there anybody out there who knows if you can contest the findings of a MARAC report or ask for a review? The allegations made by my ex to justify the report were all lies and i was never charged with any of them. The report was over a year ago now and is still being sourced as reliable information. I really am confused by this and do not know what to do, any advice would be greatly appreciated 🙂
It might be worth giving the Coram Children's Legal Centra a call - it's free advice, though you may have to persist as their lines get quite busy.
I don't think you can contest a MARAC, was it the police that initiated it? You could try contacting the chairperson or other agencies that attended the meeting and ask them how long it is in place for, what the protocols are for sharing it and how long it can be relied upon by agencies that wish to use it currently.
