[Solved] Lost my job

Hi Kenny,

Welcome back, it's difficult as I would normally say just be honest and up front but then as you say that could delay your payments which I know from being out of work a few years back they take long enough anyway, I didn't apply in the end as I was confident I would get a job before they started being paid.

Maybe just say you were sacked and if they ask why explain the reason but just hold back on saying gross misconduct.

what sort of work are you looking for?

GTTS

I would agree with GTTS - you definitely don't want to lie because if they find out, then you may lose your benefits completely. I agree that you don't need to say gross misconduct, but otherwise stick to the truth.
