My court order states to pay maintenance until age 18 or child no longer in secondary education.
Now daughter is 18 and studying NVQ level 2 at agriculture college - is this secondary education from a legal standpoint?
It would really help to have an impartial view on what constitutes secondary education in the eyes of the courts.
From what I can find it seems a fairly flexible definition of what is secondary education.
What do you mean by secondary education?
Secondary education means any education setting you attended between the ages of 11 to 18.
- In England and Wales, this would be Years 7 – 13.
- In Northern Ireland it would be Years 8 – 14.
- In Scotland, S1 – S6.
This might have been in a school, sixth form or college.
