Interpreter declined

I requested an interpreter for my family court hearing, which was declined with the clerk replying to my request saying that “an interpreter will not be provided in future hearings as you did not require one at the previous ones”.

It is true that I had a previous hearing where I didn’t request an interpreter. It wasn’t great, let’s say. Any ideas what to do without pissing off the Judge who will decide the case?

hi,

you could try write to the court that's dealing with your case, and explain why interpreter is required going forward.
