Hi my name is James I'm currently in a ongoing court case with my ex partner for contact with my son. I'm trying to apply for a interim contact order can anyone point me in the right direction
hi,
do you have another hearing coming up?
if another hearing is coming up, you take a position statement with you. in it you make a request for interim contact, if that hearing is not the final one.
Thankyou that helps alot there is a hearing coming up no date as of yet but I think it will be via zoom because of the covid problem
if it will be remote hearing, you can email your statement to court in advance.
Hey,
My partner got an interim contact order just by putting it in the position statement until court had been finalised.
I'd suggest the same as above, put it in your statement and email the courts so they have a copy. When you do have a date, at the beginning of the hearing just make sure they received a copy of your statement and voice the fact you want an interim order until all proceedings have been finalised.
Good luck!
