I have 2 children from a previous marriage ones 15 and the other one is 18.
I've recently started working again after a 2 year break and the CSA have been taking £50 a week out to pay my ex.
The letter i received told me i would be paying for both of them even though the oldest works in the army on full pay this can't be right can it?
They also told me that i am paying arrears which i didn't even have of £3000 i have rang them several times to say if they don't sort it out i am going to chuck my job.
Im only on basic pay and im supporting my wife and my other son who lives with me, its not even worth working.
The CSA have told me that they will send forms out which i never receive ive had it up to here!! now they are a twating joke!
Can someone please advise me what to do because im at my wits end here.
When did he join the army? If it's recent, then I would expect that you would stop paying shortly. However, I think it's worth asking them for their calculations, but at the same time, go and see your MP about raising a complaint with the CSA - your MP can raise it at a higher priority than you can do, but it can take quite a while, so the sooner you start the process, the better.
