Hi

i have posted before about my situation so il keep this brief.

after initial access problems my ex and i have now come to an agreement(albeit a strained one)through mediation.

my issue here now is how i ACTUALLY get the agreement written in to a consent order through the courts.

i did insist at the mediation that any agreement made i wanted to be made in to a consent order.

my ex has a terrible habit of changing things and becoming difficult for no reason so i feel its imperitive i get the reassurance of a proper lawful consent order.

i would be grateful of any advice.

thanks

Hi there,

It's great you have managed to gain an agreement between you, I don't think you need this written into a court order as a solicitor can write it up for you. That said the fee for a solicitor may be similar to the court fees to attend once tell them what's been agreed and the court can write it, going that route you "could" push for better contact, though that would drag it all out.
