Just realised I posted this in the wrong area and don't know how to move it - probably should go in Legal section?
Hi, hope someone can point me in the right direction with this.
I am planing on writing a letter to the court to have a 2nd hearing scheduled in August brought forward.
How would the form of the letter go?
I was thinking along the lines of:
Date
Reference
In the xxx courts
Applicant
Respondent
Address
Dear Sir / Madam,
I respectfully write to you to ask that a date for x August for a further hearing be brought forward to as soon as possible.
Reasons for seeking earlier hearing date:
- I have submitted all the requested material in response to the respondents statement
- I have submitted report from the SS to say case closed
- I do not know how much longer the named supervisor will be willing to supervise contact
- The second hearing is going to be a short hearing (scheduled for 45mins)
- This hearing to determine if a finding of fact hearing is required and that will potentially introduce a further delay of 3 or more months
I attach the final report of the SS and have sent the same documentation to the respondents solicitor.
Yours Faithfully
I'll move this to the legal Eagle section as you suggested.
Hi
I agree,
best to keep things short and sweet, and factual.
