Right my x girlfriend made a claim to csa last year after we had a massive falling out
The csa told me i had to start paying £60 per week to my child , which is fine i have no problem paying for my child
Well over the christmas period i admittdly could not pay her for 2 weeks which i notified her of and on the 3rd week on the 20th december
I paid up the full amount
Now unknowningly she had contacted csa and told them i had give her nothing
Well they decided to start going down the route of a deduction of earnings order
But i had carried on paying what i owe
Well suddenly im having £150 a week being removed from my wages
And she has told me herself that she has told csa i have paid nothing for 6 months
I have the bank statements to prove all my payments that i have got to send off
Now i understand i am somewhat at fault
But surely if she is contacting a goverment department falsely accusing me of not paying when she is knowningly receiving money off me that was set up by the csa in the first place
Is that not some kind of fraud lying to goverment officials
Is there anything i can do
Because quite frankly if i had done what she has i would go to prison
Is she not breaking any laws anywhere herself
Do you have proof you have paid her, or did you pay her cash?
If you are struggling to deal with the CMS, I would advise contacting your local CAB or MP and they will be able to advise or support you.
