Well, court date 1st hearing is set for January. Social worker has been here to see home environment and has to make a recommendation to the court as to who could offer the best care.(She said she feels my son can offer better care but its down to the judge, It will mean moving counties and schools etc
Contact has been on and off, but The Mum has been on best behaviour, sends child to school(only since SS on case again).
Things haven't changed much regarding the concern for home conditions and general hygiene of child(she is always in filthy clothes and shoes which do not fit, and riddled with nits).
ANYWAY! A NEW BF IS ON THE SCENE. SS HAVE DONE POLICE CHECKS ON HIM, THEY CAME BACK OF MAJOR CONCERN!! THEY CAN'T TELL US WHAT COS OF CONFIDENTIALITY.... THEY WANTED TO SEE HOW MUM WOULD ACT UPON THESE RESULTS..
SHE HAS SAID HE'S MOVED OUT, BUT I DON'T BELIEVE HE HAS.
I HAVE MY GRANDAUGHTER HERE AT MO, MEANT TO BE GOING HOME MONDAY, BUT SOMETHING SHE SAID YESTERDAY IS REALLY BOTHERING ME!1 IT WAS SAID IN A JOKEY WAY....... SHE WAS GETTING PJ'S ON AND MESSING AROUND...
SHE SAID "DO YOU KNOW WHAT XXXX(NEW BF) DOES WHEN I GET PJ'S ON AT MUMMY'S?
HE TICKLES ME AND TRIES TO GET MY NIPPLES...
I don't want send her home now, but the last time we kept her, it backfired!!
I am going to call soc worker Monday morn.
Maybe I'm over reacting, but This is not normal or right!!
If I cannot get hold of Soc Worker, what can do as there is already courts in process
Hi there
There should be an emergency child protection team that are available out of hours, give them a call and tell them what she has said and the fact that you don't want to take action without the complete agreement of the authorities because of what happened last time.
