Long story short, court completed last June (2020) shared care of daughter but spends more time with me due to mums substance misuse.
Sep 2020, arrested, lied about the arrest and contact with daughter went ahead 2 hours later.
Jan 2021 - 4 police cars arrive at mums house due to warrant for her arrest, mum taken to court, daughter in house, uncle had to go and watch her. Turns out offence was drug driving.
April May 2021 - mums and daughters behaviour spiral. School flag up change in her behaviour, outburst, not sleeping etc. Mum refusing to send liver function tests, so court applied for.
Urgent hearing last month, hair strand test ordered. Results show medium use of benzoylecgonine (metabolite of cocaine) even after dying hair 1 week prior to test. Results show for 2 consecutive months of March - May where I raised concerns, mum still denying use even after results.
currently have 4 nights a week, where do I stand with asking for residency and reducing contact with mum now in the interim? As I’m aware section 7’s are taking up to 16 weeks!
sounds like mother is out of control, and not giving priority to daughter. any court should switch the tables and give you residency if thats what you want, and limit the mothers contact perhaps every other weekend and untill she can prove she can behave. getting arrested and leaving the girl at home is terrible, imagine if the uncle couldnt come around.
my section 7 took around 12 weeks.
