So in less than a week I go back to court for my parentage responsibility hearing and hopefully the dna test results, it's been a very long five months since I've had contact with my daughter.
My suit is clean and ironed and my shoes are that so shiny they could blind you.
Im a little worried that the ex might not be bothered to turn up again and it's going to be adjourned for the second time.
Any tips or advice chaps??
Can't think of anything to hand but good luck 🙂
Have a look through our stickies, there are one or two that will give you tips for attending court.
Take a brief position statement with you and be prepared for a long wait.
I hope she turns up. It's possible that they can make an order in her absence. If she doesn't show - then ask the court about this. If they make an order in her absence, she will have an opportunity to challenge it as she wouldn't have had a fair hearing, but I have seen cases where it has happened.
Best of luck.
