Ok, so good news, the hearing has been scheduled for when I am away but after submitting my position statement to the court and proving that I have a holiday booked they have rescheduled which I am thankful of.
After collecting my son from school today, his teacher told me that the social worker had been in touch and wants to talk with my son tomorrow. He ended his involvement when the section 7 report was filed so I am a bit unsure as to why he could be going. He hasnt contacted me at all. I have stated to him that I felt him very biased towards my ex so I am thinking unnecessarily and worrying. Would it be wrong of me to ask the school to make sure that someone from the school is present while he speaks with my son? To ensure that his words are not twisted or used in the wrong way?
I think it would be appropriate for you to ask that your child be accompanied by a member of staff, whether this would be acceptable to the Social Workeri don't know...I remember when my son was going through the process they insisted on speaking to my grandson without us present. ...it's worth a try though.
