Hi guys, have any of you been to either of the FNF branch meetings in Manchester & were they any good? An old friend of mine is needing support up there. I've read mixed reviews on branch meetings on here so thought would ask for him?
Hi Ya,
I can't speak for your area but I always go to mine. Its a face to face version of this. I met my MF there! So helped play a part in my case.
There are two in the area your asking about I think...I'll try and find out some more info about the organisers.
Thanks Life, it's not for me, it's for a friend of mine.
NJ, thank you, seems to be same organisers for both branches I think. Just a bit cautious about recommending due to other members experiences at some branches.
🙂
Hey 1626,
Just a quick thought, why not go along with your friend? (Obviously if you decide to recommend)
Mum likes to tag along to my meetings.
Just putting that out there.

Thanks, I live about 5 hours away from my friend so that isn't really an option. He knows I've been supporting my partner through his case so asked if I could give him some advice. Obviously I can email / phone him but I just thought attending an FNF meeting might give him a bit of extra support and the chance to meet other parents in the same position.
I've also advised him to join the forum, he's been reading through posts and taking advice that way but, like my partner, he doesn't like to post himself.
I think he's going to go along to the meeting anyway & my partner's MF has found him a local one to assist with his hearings, his case is relatively straight forward so I'm sure he will be fine eventually.....
I myself have attended the Manchester FNF meetings, and i found the advice very valuable, I once thought my case was dead on till FNF Manchester informed me otherwise. They more or less have a solicitor/barrister there which are very helpful. A guy called Charles Moore chairs the meetings here is his contact number 07720867570. and a link for FNF http://www.fnf-manchester.org.uk/
All the best fella!
Thanks all....
NJ, I got an email today saying I will be on commission soon haha!

Dear Dads,
Please take care and be advised, this Charles Moore / Charlie Moore from Warrington was supposed to support with family law and asked me for money to give to barristers. I have never seen the money again which he promised to return. Avoid this scammer.
I've contacted FNF, I've put a CCJ on Charles Moore / Charlie Moore and doing everything I can so this doesn't happen to anyone else.
He's been traced at the moment since he gives false addresses and moves around a lot. FNF officer has told me they find it disgusting that someone does this.
He is not involved with FNF Manchester or Families Need Fathers anymore.
I have been told that what has happened to me, also happened to more people however it's not reported publicly.
He was also involved in a company that has been terminated:
