Hi, I'm just finishing off my response to my exs statement and I'm stuck as to what to put on the front page. I've copied the rest of legal term bit from hers as she has a solicitor but she's put STATEMENT OF (lying bh) so do I put Statement of me or do I put response to statement of lying bh or what do I do please? I've looked through loads of posts but can't find the answer so I apologise if it's either already out there or that I'm being especially dumb! Also she has got on hers "I am the Applicant herein and I make this statement in support f my application for a blah blah Order". What do I write please? "I am the applicant herein and ?????????. I have an 11 page statement plus the evidence pages. Is this too long? I've kept it as short as possible but she has so many points in hers that I have to respond to - hers are one liners but my answers cant be. Thanks, I appreciate your help and the support I have had so far has helped me a lot. .
You are the respondent, not the applicant.
Sorry, yes, my bad of course I'm the Respondent so do I write "I am the Respondent herein and ???????? Basically what do I write on the front please? Thank you
You would put -
_____________________________
STATEMENT OF RESPONDENT
(Your name)

____________________________
I (your name) of (your address) am the Respondent, I make this statement in response to (applicants name) statement and I will say as follows :-
1.
2.
3.... etc
At the end you would write - I believe that the facts stated in this statement are true. Then sign and date
The box should be centralised on the page
Thanks again - I have already come to rely on you mojo. All done just off to the post.
You're welcome Busta.
