I divorced from my ex-wife in 2013, we both spent money on solicitors dealing with trivial [censored]-for-tat letters between solicitors instead of what has presented itself as a problem for me 8 years later.
We didn't do a financial settlement agreement at the time of before or after the divorce, which I understands that any potential claim is still valid. I am now concerned that my ex-wife will be entitled to half of my pension and am even more concerned whether she will be entitled to anything beyond the divorce or separation date. I was always on the assumption that one wouldn't be needed if the divorce has already happened however I was in the complete wrong to assume this.
Just wondering if there is any advice out there on where I stand now, the best option going forward in me correcting the omission.
