Hello all,
Can someone advise when I am able to put in a finance application to the court?
I have just put in the divorce application and paid my fee. I have heard back from my ex solicitors that she does does not intend to defend the divorce so it should continue without disruption.
Am I now in a position to put in a finance application?
I have tried to arrange finance agreement by suggesting mediation and a meeting with our parents present to try and reach an amicable solution but both suggestions have been refused by my ex and I was told to speak about it through her solicitor.
Thanks for reading and taking the time to respond.
Matt
Hi
Once mediation has been at least attempted, then you can submit a financial application.
