So after not seeing my child for 7.5 months I spent time with her today!
Last week I had the second hearing this year and an order was made for 2 hours supervised contact for 3 weeks and my child’s wishes and feelings to be taken into consideration to move back to how it was for 5 years which was4/3 me.
Within 5 mins my child said to ss “I don’t want you here next time I want to see my daddy on my own!
We spent 2 hours literally rolling in mud, playing football and we went to maccies.
Just before we left ss said it’s obvious I’m not needed so you can do as you please in 10 days time for a few hours which is great.
I love how this time even though my child is 7 they are calling the shots.
The ex blocked me seeing my child at Xmas and I was “allowed” to give 1 present (they’ve got 33) lol
Anyway I’ll ya a final contested hearing in a few months so at least contact has started and I am absolutely gunning to get what’s right for my child.
I’ve got criminal court on 2 false charges early Han so I fully expect the top to try and frustrate things then but bring it on.
That is brilliant news, I am really pleased for you!! I hope you get to spend more time alone with them soon.
Yeah it’s cool there’s a schedule of contact in place for the next 3 months until the next hearing the next is next week unsupervised
