Im at the final hearing on Monday and we have more or less agreed a schedule (fingers crossed !!)
The question I have is what do I ask for in court, what sort of order ? She needs the order to be black and white and it to be against the law to break, that way she will take it seriously?
Thanks
You will get a Child Arrangements Order, it will have a warning notice attached that will allow either party to enforce the order if either party breaches it. However, the fact is that you are in a civil court and although the order is legally binding, the penalties for breaching an order often don't pack much of a punch and courts are very slow to use the weight of enforcement and impose penalties.
This generally happens after multiple returns to the court....have a read through Dad-i-d's posts, his story is a prime example of the difficulties of getting an order enforced.
