[Solved] Final hearing ex trying to stall by going on holid

Hi we have just had the date of the final hearing and now ex is trying to adgurne it by booking a holiday my child is 2 but going with another 3 kids better 5th and 9th Feb. Can she do this .

Contact the court and tell them that the other party is trying to avoid the hearing by booking a holiday after she has had notification of the date. Hopefully they will refuse her request for an adjournment.

Agree with Mojo, and it may help to phrase the request in terms of the child. I don’t know the specifics of your case, but perhaps something like, this delay will further erode the bond between your child and you, which is shown to have a detrimental impact on her development.
