[Solved] Final Hearing

Hello Everyone,

Final hearing is next week, any last minute tips? I am self-representing; bundle is filed. Strangely I am relaxed, maybe because I am not reading the statements repeatedly. Expecting the worst case scenario.

Wish me luck : )

Great feeling getting all your bundles in isn't it? 🙂

I was the same I relaxed in the knowledge that they were spot on and to the best of my ability without any lies 🙂

From now to the hearing try and take your mind off it and go in there all relaxed as you can be, I found the final hearing was an anti climax if I'm honest, even though it's the final hearing it's just the start in a way.

Good luck man 🙂

Slim 🙂

Good luck Rob

Have you prepared a closing statement? A short paragraph summing up what you would like the court to do and why?

You might be required to cross examine CAFCASS (if they are to be present) and your ex, so it's prudent to prepare some relevant questions for them.

Ask if you need any further assistance.

Thanks guys for the advice.

I had my final hearing yesterday, I did not get what I wanted, as Mr Slim said, it's a start.

Basically I got two alternative overnight weekends, weekly mid week overnight for my 3-year-old daughter. Judge dismissed the usual NMO non sense and warned her.

Hi Rob, well done and thank you for updating us. I'm sorry you didn't get exactly what you asked for but it is indeed a step in the right direction and something that you can build on. It's great to hear positive outcomes for all our members. Enjoy your time with your daughter, I'm sure she will be delighted.

Thanks very much Yoda. It's a good start and all the allegations non-sense are behind.

Thanks Mr Slim & Mojo.

I was prohibited to pickup from Nursery, it was great feeling to pick her, all these days I was treated like a criminal from most of the agencies I dealt with.
Hopefully now things will only improve.
