Hey guys
As some of you know, I've been supporting my partner through his case by doing the legal work and using this forum. He had the Final Hearing today......Great result, got pretty much everything he asked for 🙂
He's had some good and bad experiences with the agencies involved, shocking admin that's caused emotional and financial setbacks that resulted in delays but got there in the end.
We wouldn't have coped without the help from this site & I've made a few good friends from here in the process. Hopefully, I can help other members now by way of thanks.
Very happy Dad sat next to me now 🙂
Thanks guys. There was a last minute change of venue and judge which wasn't ideal. What should have taken an hour with the regular judge, took the whole day. Mum put in a last minute offer that was quite laughable and my partner ended up with slightly more than he thought he would get. The order will state. overnights to start in a few weeks & by January, these will be Fri-Sun alternate weekends with shared travel, share of school holidays and special occasions, permission to take the child abroad for holidays and to be kept up to date with educational and medical matters.
It's taken 18 long months to get to this point, hasn't quite sunk in yet 🙂
Just read your good news in regards to the contact - that's brilliant and only fair shouldn't take 18 months of fighting for what is right
however every weekend and holiday will be enjoyed even more now knowing how much it took to get it
All the best
