Hi, I am new to this website but I need some advice
I won't go into too much detail but I have been going though the courts to see my two little girls. It's now approaching the year mark since I put the application in. And to be honest not much as happened
When I had the first hearing cafcass was ordered to do the reports etc.. pretty standard. There report was unbelievable, it completely put me down as a father and just completely destroyed me as a person. Everything my ex partner said was taken as gospel and what ever I said was put in the report as I was telling a lie. Even though I sent her hard evidence of what I was saying was true and what my ex was saying was a lie!
Following that, I of course contested the report and it was due for a final hearing back in December. However cafcass did not show. It has been rescheduled for March.
So, basically my question is what am I going to expect in court in March? Do I have to go though her reports and ask her questions, show my evidence to the court to disprove her reports?
Thanks .
Hi There,
.
Although Cafcasss gather evidence, the judge will have the final say, so if you have evidence that shows that you haven't done the things that your ex has claimed then get it all in order.
.
I would imagine that you would need to go through the reports in court and that you would have the chance to defend yourself against those claims.
