Hi all,

Could really do with some assistance from some legal minded people within this forum. I am not going to write war and peace and any advice is greatly welcomed.

Timeline -

Split up beginning 2013
Divorce application August 2013
Finances exchanges Sept 2013
November 2013 Harassment order given to ex's father for been aggressive , stalking and threatening
March 2014 re exchange of new finance
April 2014 ex father in law accuses of mysterious monies loaned by him
May letter from solicitor he as taken it further
July first finance hearing - ordered to make statement from either side about finances
September statements exchanged
Middle october gets solicitor email saying money has mysteriously increased 45 thousand and going to TRY and sue me for it. Obviously i replied with objection
Today - gets email from ex solicitor to say ex father in law going to intervene and docs sent to court
Middle October FDR hearing

Can a same solicitor act in relation to FDR as well as interveener?
How can someone intervene?
Goalposts change from suing to intervene etc?
How can i object to this?
If i have an harassment order how do i stand? Is he allowed to threatening me like this? Is he allowed to be at the court?
Can he be in the same room as my ex and her solicitor?

Any help greatly appreciated... I am self represented as the cost of legal support is crazy and money is tight. Sorry for long info

I think you are best having a word with citizens advice bureau as that's more divorce advice you need rather than child law - might be worth also paying for an hour or two consultation with a solicitor - get your questions written out in advance. Once you have that advice, you can still self represent, and if you need specialist advice, just pay for another hour only when you need it - that way you'll keep your costs right down.
