So, the costs are £750 for the initial meeting and then £50/hr thereafter if you want them to work on the case. I've spoken to a barrister and am speaking to a McKenzie friends tomorrow, so I'll see how to play it.
I thought the start up cost was too high for F4J and given the warnings on this board (and quite frankly by them), I've done as per the above.
may be worth getting along to a local FnF meeting, i was given the name of a very good MacKenzie friend from them a couple of years back. most recently been advised of one who is supposed to be quite good where Parental Allienation is evident in cases.
I agree with D-i-D - McKenzies Friends are unregulated, so the best way to find a good one is through personal recommendation.
We can often help with that too, just give any of the Mods or members a PM with what area you need the MF and we might be able to make some suggestions.
