So today I was at court spent a total of 5k on solicitors and its got me nowhere everybody tells me who I know of course you will get contact back just keep doing what cafcass ask .but the truth is now my solicitor told me today after me my child and ex go to see a family specialist meaning a psychologist that she or he will write up a recommendation and what ever he says the court will follow .my solicitor has said if the report come back in my favour I could get direct contact but if specialist cannot find an answer how to fix issue with contact and the brain washing my ex has done on child then it will 100 % Be indirect contact .shocking the law I am broken hearted to think a year ago I had my child stay for three weeks in six weeks holiday and where happy and because of all the stuff that my ex has made up and brain washed my child it has come to this and the worse thing is a lawyer has done nothing more fool me I am a broken man and miss my child so much really feel sorry for anyone going through this court system I wish there was something all us fathers could get together and do something to change the law but I know it would take a lot of fathers .

All we can do as father's and those who going through three system is do our best and keep pushing forward. My only words I can give is concentrate on each step of the process step by step and try not to second guess the outcome as I've done that many times and can drive a man crazy.

Thanks wish all us fathers could get together and protest this broken system I feel sorry and understand totally what father's are going thru ten years I've been going to court and I don't think about myself I think what is this doing to my child but my ex doesn't care as long as ex is keeping me and my child from having a relationship she's happy and its so wrong that cafcass aren't trained and the court in parent alienation I watched my child say I love you dad. And then child a few months later after contact was stopped by ex and child turned against me and now says I hate you dad how the courts and cafcass don't think why does say she loves dad and ever since ex stopped child says she hates dad.its not rocket science but the fact cafcass and court don't see this it makes me and every other dad angry when will the system change and recognised as a form of mental abuse .
I am really sorry for what you are going through 1234homeland. I'm not an expert in that field, but I would like to think society is slowly moving towards a better understanding of the alienation phenomenon.

.. We have signposted Karen's work in the past and her blog is helpful for anyone going throug PA. she does run workshops and can also do work for the courts, but she charges quite highly for this. We have had one or two Dads contact her directly and she does respond, but she's very busy.
