I need help me and my ex girlfriend were together for 7 years..she has a daughter from her ex partner..we have a son...her daughter calls me dad....she kicked me out as she got a new boyfriend and moved him in...in the last 7 years she has had my wages every week....approx £350- £500 per week....i slept on the sofa for the last 18 months as she wanted another child and i didnt ..the relationship was rocky..i now live with my mum..i work nights..and i am being harassed every single day with phone calls and text messages...i pay maintanence for both children although she keeps threatening to tell her daughter that im not the real dad....she dumped her daughter on my mums doorstep last sunday and told her to get in touch with me and sort her out...............im a constant wreck.....i have got help from mediation..and got an appointment for the 3rd october.....im at my wits end now..social services have threatened to take the kids off her.............she kicked off outside school and was hoping to be "falsley" sectioned...........................i do not know what i can do

Are you intending for the children to live with you considering SS have threatened to take the children? Do you have Parental Responsibility for your step daughter?
What are you hoping mediation will achieve? If there is an urgency regarding the children's welfare, depending on what you would like to happen, you can make an urgent application to the court.
It might be worth phoning a local solicitor as many offer free 30 minute consultations or try Coram Children's Legal Centre's helpline.
