Dropping Child Arrangements Order

Hey Fellow fathers.

Hope all is well.

Need some advice.

I currently have primary care of our child, I am almost certain it will go to shared care. My wife put the application in, after we separated . It’s going to go through a section 7 report.

My partner and I are on amicable terms. If we agree an agreement away from the courts, is she able to drop her child arrangements case? We don’t want to be bound by a consent order or any order in fact

Can that work?

Kind Regards,

Dad

Hi,

it's good that your on amicable terms with your ex. However do you think problems might arise in future, where she may stop child contact? if so, then I suggest you continue with proceedings. If any problems arise, then you have a court order to fall back on.

If you want to drop proceedings, you can use this C2 form and request it:
