Well done you!!!
What a great result and you are completely exonerated, making the ex look like a big police time wasting fool.
Fabulous result, congratulations.
Take care
Kirsten

That's brilliant news....Be interesting to see if she has representation going forward and if your hunch about the Legal Aid was correct. Chuffed for you 🙂

Yep, it's nice to know that I am free man!

Next plan of action now is writing to the legal aid agency to inform them of a possible fraudulent application on the ex's part. Then it will be complaining to cafcass as the officer in my case has has been acting in a way that has been concerning me for some time now. I should have made the complaint earlier, but didn't for fear of rocking the boat. I think I'm at a juncture now, where contact has been established and making a complaint shouldn't negatively affect that.

I can't just sit by and let a totally biased cafcass officer collude with my ex and decide the future of contact while excluding me from all discussions.

Wish me luck on my crusade!

Simon.

That is excellent news. I may be wrong but I didn't think you could have barristers from the same chambers due to conflict of interest, may be worth checking that out.

Will be intersted to hear the response back about Legal Aid. My son's ex gets this because she doesn't work and made false allegations about him. That hearing was finished but she still receives Legal Aid as she keeps making more false allegations up. She is now the one who has been arrested and cautioned over what the police class as a domestic abuse incident towards my son, so why should she still get Legal Aid to cover this. I am sure that once her Legal Aid stops, then she will comply with what the court states.
