Hi all, its been a while since i posted so shall explain what's happened since then , back in Feb I was awarded interim contact at a contact centre.....however my ex then came out with even more accusations so far the list includes domestic violence against her as well as my kids , rape , looking at child porn , breaking in to her house , stalking ....etc some of the accusations are sick and I'm sure there designed to provoke a response from me.....however were now at a point where all accusations are falling apart due to her lies and contradictions so I know I will get past this , my obstacle is the accusation of child porn as I voluntarily gave my laptop and phone to the police in the hope it would help however they have said I could be waiting 8 months for them to even check the data on them ,,,,,my concern is that the courts will be reluctant to proceed until this is resolved especially as I'm aiming for full custody
I was in court last week again but my ex refused to go into court claiming she wasn't prepared for the hearing the judge decided to appoint a guardian for my kids so that the ex cant pull the same stunt but I haven't been given contact yet as the judge wants to re do the hearing with the guardian
Does anyone have advice on ways to speed up the police investigation and experience of having a guardian appointed
Thanks in advance
BD
Just to add I've had no contact since Jan due to delay tactics and false allegations
Hi there
Write to them, would it be the chief constable, whoever it is that's in charge at the police station you handed it into. Explain the importance of getting things moving for the benefit of the court. If this doesn't work then you can ask the court at the next hearing if they are able to request the police report on this, if they can that is likely to hurry things along.
Once the Guardian has been appointed you can try and get them to organise some kind of contact with your children, even if it is in a contact centre. the fact that the mother made these allegations and refused to go into court has delayed things and its really important that the children start to re establish their bond with you.... Ask for an observational contact with the Guardian present so that they can see how you are with your children and how they relate to you....just keep pushing.
Had the social worker and police round today and the courts have already requested that the police speed up there enquiries, as a result of this the police have confirmed I will be prioritized and should be resolved within 4 weeks,,,, this is great news for me as my name can be cleared alot quicker , so I'm just waiting on the guardian now
