Please can you help after a long and expensive divorce , i still have not paid solicitor so can not employ him to help now .In short x wife pushing the csa on a daily basis , she has taken the case to a tribunal and they have judged i have to pay more using wrong figures , i have sent them a letter and have been told it takes 12 weeks to reply. Meanwhile the c.sa have taken there word and are demanding thousands of pounds which i dont have . The letter i have this week states court action and debt recovery ,the tribunal say the only way to stop this action is to employ a solicitor again please help if you can thankyou.

Hi there

What about the Citizens Advice Bureau?

Or you could take it to your MP if the figures given by your ex are wrong and the CSA arn't listening to you. In intransient situations, I have always found the MP to be really helpful....they have access all areas!! They usually have local weekly surgeries, but you could also try phoning them...you can write to them too, but I think its better to see them personally, its quicker.

Good luck.

...Just to let you know dad-i-did has posted that he turned to his MP for help with CSA issues and got a result, so I really think its worth a try.

You can appeal against the tribunal decision (unless it's changed in the last few years) - if they refuse to allow you an appeal to the tribunal, then you can appeal directly to the CSA commisioner. It's a long process, but no solicitor is needed.
