...It doesnt matter to the CSA that your name isnt on the Birth Certificate....the presumption is that you are the father anyway, unless you dispute it and then you would need to do a paternity test to prove it. However as you dont dispute the child is yours they will continue with your ex's claim for maintenance.

Hi Joe
NJ is right you dont have to be on the BC Paying maintanance andd seeing your child are seperate issues. I would let her calm down and then try to talk to her. You have to now apply to the court for parental responsibility once you get that you can have your name put on your childs birth certificate you do not need her permission once you get the pr order. at the same time you can apply for a contact order this will take the control out of the mothers hands and you can have set times to see your child, if you apply for both at the same time it will cost you £200 total.
If she has gone to the csa you will be expected to pay from the date she rang and made the claim, so if you are paying her privately I would stop as they wont take it into account and you will pay twice. as they will back date . If she asnt gone to the csa and was just cross with you, I strongly advise you pay by standing order into her account clearly stateing what its for Maintanance, this way you have evidence/paper trail..
