Need help people im due in court soon for access to my 7 year old son his mother refused mediation so iv decided this is the best way to go im due a phone call from cafcass i have no history or criminal records or anything to hide i want to prepare for the call in the best way i can don't want to make court about me and his mother! all i want is more days with my boy 50/50 id love for that to happen
Please if anyone has been through this and knows what questions ill be asked anything to helpe prepare in the best possible way anything would be much appreciated!!

If there are no concerns or issues then you won't really need to prepair much, they will ask you if you have any concerns about your ex or your childs safety, they may ask you about things your ex has raised if she raises anything.

if you have no convictions and no involvement with the local authority then 50/50 is plausible. but as a good starting point every other weekend with overnight stays is what you would ask for in your request to cafcass with more contact....if possible. this is what you could get in one sitting at court also ask for 1 or 2 weeks holiday in the summer, extra day / night during the week..and see what the mother reaction is to that....
