I know I have a topic live

I am going to courts for child custody of my children but does anyone know if they court gets dismissed or anything do I have to keep paying for every court session, as my ex just threated me saying she not agreeing to anything and just wants me to waste my money before a judge decides what to do.

Thanks

Hi. If a barrister will represent you for each hearing, then you will be paying lots of money. If self representing, then there's no cost.

@bill337

I will be representing myself

but if we have to go back to the courts do I have to keep paying for every time I go courts or if it’s get dismissed as in the judge tells us to go back to mediation to sort it and she still doesn’t agree to a arrangement then do I have pay again to go court

If you have to make new c100 application, then would have to pay for that. lot of mediators offer £500 free mediation vouchers

You can get information on the C100 process from the advicenow.org.uk website, also on self representing in the courts.  The application is not likely to be dismissed without a decision being taken.  If you have to go to court several times before the Judge makes a finding, there is no extra cost for this.
