[Solved] Court Orders without my consent

Just briefly, my ex wife has currently blocked my access to my children as I would not agree to her unreasonable demands. (In reality she had shacked up with a new man and wanted me out of their lives.)
The problem is she now informs me she has changed my childrens surnames and given her new husband parental rights, both via court order.

I did not think she could do this without my consent?

I have parental responsibility for them and am on their birth certificates etc. I fail to see how she could do this without my knowing. I read somewhere that surname change without fathers consent is only occasionally possible in circumstances where the father has been completely absent for some time, the mother can prove that she has attempted to trace the father without success and that the father does not contribute in any way to the childrens lives including financially. I pay full maintenance every month through the csa and she has always been able to contact me and knows my whereabouts (and that I am fighting to see them!). She is a compulsive liar, I'm just not sure whether she is lying to me or has lied to the courts, though I cant believe they wouldn't have checked up on any of this.
I also don't believe parental responsibility can be given to anyone else without my consent?

Any help much appreciated, thanks.

Hi and welcome

I wonder whether she has done what she says she has. Can I ask if you have a solicitor acting for you at the moment?

I'm wondering the same thing, it wouldnt be the first time she's lied through her back teeth.

I've used a solicitor previously regarding access to my children but haven't seen a solicitor about this yet, I was hoping to find out if it is possibly true before entering into yet another battle with her to be honest.

Thanks for your reply.
