[Solved] court ..order not happy help please

Hi i have a 3 yr old son from my ex partner,,have always been ok with her and with her had my son overnight from fri 4 pm till 3pm saturday ...i have just returned from court did have solicitor i went for extended over night for having my son,,this is what i went for
every other weekend from fri 1pm till sunday 6pm..as i work weekends,so having him every other weekend would help me work out my working rota
alternate xmas and new yr
a week in aug,,so i can take him on hols
fathers day

just come out of the court,,and ended up with the same just every weekend but on ex,s say so i now pick him up at 3pm fri till sat 4pm.
i get to see him on xmas day..
and 5 extra days during the yr but i cant have him overnight with this
and to top it off i,m not allowed to pick him up from her house cause her new partner does not want this,,he will drop him off at local shop for me....
talk about waste of time,,excuss according to the 3 on the bench child is 2 young,,,for extra ..can i appeal against this ?
advice greatly recived ,by this upset father

You mention a solicitor. Was that your solicitor? What advice have they given you on appealing this? What were you hoping for?

Hi

I'm afraid you can't appeal because you aren't happy with the decision - and in any event, it would be unlikely to achieve anything. You can apply for a variation in the court order to extend contact, but you need to let the existing order run for a while to have a chance at getting contact increased.
