I have a two bed council house which is all in my name
cut a long story short
my wife is leavening and taking our 7 year old with her.
the council have said they will re-home the both of them and I can keep the house
what I need to know is it best (more point from the council)
if she try's to move out from me
or will she have more point from the council if she move in with her mum and dads who have two extra room
thanks

I'd have a word with your local citizens advice bureau - they will hopefully know how your local council's points system works. Gut feeling though is that if she is living with her parents and there is room there, then her priority will be lower than if she makes herself homeless.
