Lawyer seems to think my ex's allegations are gona result in a trial by jury ... so ive asked him when does the evidence i have that shows that she is constantly contridicting herself etc be heard ??
All the allegations she made , failed in family court but she goes to the police a year after we broke up with these allegations and they seem to have believed her !
He says basically if the crown do decide this will be going to a trial by jury, then its once we are in that situation that my evidence and side to the story will be heard ! And he will then try to discredit her and her friends who she has now roped into to lie for her !
Does the above seem standered practice in these situations guys ?
Cheers 😉
Ultimately, this is now being tried as a criminal case, rather than just a matter for the family courts - whether it goes ahead depends largely on the Crown Prosecution Service, based on whether it's in the public interest and whether they think there's a reasonably prospect of a guilty verdict.
What happened with this case? Hope it worked out for you.
Did it proceed to a CPS because she reported you to the police or on the recommendation of the civil court judge because her NMO allegations was so severe?
