Hi Guys,
To bring everyone up to date, I've not seen my child in over 6 months, I've been back to Court and they've got Cafcass involved again to do a report.
Question is, has anyone managed to convince Cafcass that parental alienation has taken place, if so how?
If anyone has any thoughts and suggestions then all will be welcome.
So far I've got a timeline of events, Christmas card, text messages from just before this happened written by my child showing they loved me. I've also got the previous Cafcass report from less than a year ago stating that I had a good relationship with my child. (As it was a witnessed report written about time spent with my child.)
Hoping for a minor miracle.....
I have the same problem with my 11 year old son, CAFCASS say he has negative feelings for me after interviewing him briefly at school but they don't really know why he won't see me. I have tried twice writing him a letter, twice his mum sends solicitor letters complaining and I recently sent him a text , his sister gave me his number, guess what I got another solicitor letter telling me not to.
I spoke to CAFCASS recently and said I felt it was more that he has anxiety about displeasing his mother about seeing me they didn't like that and they don't know what todo or suggest.
The problem as I have said before we need their mums to help us, mine wouldn't spit on me if I was on fire.
Out of interest with your username northern guy where are you from?
Sounds like we are in the same situation, unfortunately I don't have confidence that Cafcass will see what's going on, or even worse that they will believe what my child has said that I'm this bad person they don't want to see anymore.
How did you get Cafcass to see your side?
Rather not say where I'm from, I don't want my ex to work out what I'm doing and get one step ahead of me.
Mate you can't convince cafcass over nothing they are the biggest bunch of man haters going no matter what you say they won't listen I swear I don't dislike many people but that shower of s**t all want putting down.
I wouldn't even try to claim PA as they won't be interested at all, in your interview don't slag the ex off one bit try and not mention her at all if you can although they will try and provoke you just lie through your back teeth and praise your ex, If you try and claim PA they will view that as been negative towards the mother for sure.
Honestly mate keep everything completely child focused no matter what you say Cafcass will always side with the resident parent make sure you keep calm throughout dealing with them, speak slow, watch your body language don't come across hard done to or angry, They will not give a s**t that you haven't seen your child in 6 months they just see that as you moaning say my child hasn't seen his her daddy make every single dealing with them only about the children.
Other peeps have had good dealings with them but I've not in my opinion they are absolute scum of the earth pieces of [censored] π
You have to be so careful with them as the courts will follow their recommendations to the letter.
Is it a s7 they are doing of an s2?
They won't even look at xmas cards ect they will dismiss absolutely everything keep all that for your court bundle the Judges were blown away by mine π
Slim π
