Hi all , ok so long story short my ex and i went to court a few months ago and were orders to take drug tests I had no issue with this but my ex protested at the time we were court orders not to cut dye or bleach our hair so I booked moline straight away and had it done , my ex on the other hand had hers done on the last day of the deadline and as you may be aware the tester takes a photo of you on the day , I bumped into my ex just before she had the test and her hair was bright pink (bleached and dyed) , which when we were I court last month she denied and claimed I was still brown like when we were I court , the judge noted this comment in the order, it has now come to light Tha the colour photo will be available to the court at the hearing next week and cafcass can also verify she bleached and dyed it prior to the test
So my point is she didn't comply with court order - contempt?
She lied in court to the judge in response to judges questioning about dying it- perjury?
Will anything happen?
I should also add I passed all the tests as I was 100% negative for any drugs or alcohol and my ex technically passed but had borderline readings for a class A drug literally on the edge of being positive the courts were also concerned with her list of prescription drugs that she declared even though her Drs letter doesn't mention prescrbing them
Does anyone have any knowledge in this area ?
Hi,
Hope I can help. While what you are talking about is both. The only relevant one here is the perjury. There is virtually no chance of her being found guilty of this. A normal court would be likely to, but this is the family court and laws here are purely optional.
I foresee the Court maybe ordering she needs to take a new test not using hair and this may be something you could demand given the circumstance.
If she does commit perjury then what are the court going to do?
Good job you bumped into her!
The judge made a point of asking her directly at the Las hearing "did you dye your hair prior to the test?" She responded "no" then at the end of the hearing it was asked again by the judge and my ex replied "as I've already said no" , then it was put in the order conformation required as to mothers hair colour at time of test , and i now have the official confirmation so I was hoping this may hold some weight or at least discredit some of the other lies
Is there anyone of mutual acquaintance who could and is prepared to verify having seen her sporting the pink 'do' between the proscribed dates?
